Arlington Grass Company opened at its present location on Cooper Street in October of 1972. The grass company began as Kelley Grass and was located on Abram Street east of the General Motors Plant. My father, Wells Watson, began working for Mr. Kelley in the summers when he was 16 years old, purchasing the business at age 22 before I was born. I began working with my Dad at 9 years old and eventually took over the business in 2007. When the business opened, grass was the only product sold. Now we offer a variety of grasses, dirt, rocks and boulders for all of your lawn care needs.

The grass business has changed over the years with the introduction of hybrid grasses, with the growth boom of the eighties to the water shortages of last year, but during these 40 years we have prided ourselves on an excellent product and great service. And the community has rewarded us by calling on Arlington Grass Company for all of their lawn care needs. We look forward to serving you many more years to come.
